Kite Camp Cumbuco, a charming little place in the heart of the upcoming kiter’s capital, Cumbuco. Located only 25 km from the airport of Fortaleza.
Surrounded by lagoons , waves and lots of dunes. Everybody can get satisfaction in this vast paradise.
Ceara is the well known region for its reliable strong wind from June to February,
100% guaranteed. The coast is around 900 km long.
Cumbuco itself is a small fishing village with friendly locals who welcome you with a big smile.
It’ s the place to make it to your base camp. From there you can go along the coast in both directions to discover unspoiled kitespots , or just enjoying the perfect downwind.
Kite Camp
is located at the entrance of the small village of Cumbuco. Its
located 30 minutes from Fortaleza.
Each year, many kiters from different nationalities come to Cumbuco
to benefit the perfect kite condition.
Kite Camp Cumbuco is a big house less then 100m from the beach. There are 6 rooms with double beds, one room for 3 persons and one that can accommodate up to 5 persons.
There is a Tapas bar directly at the pousada. Specialities include grilled lobsters and gambas (shrimps) caught fresh that morning by the local fishermen.
After a hard day kiting simply leave your equipment in the garden and it will be washed and cleaned for you by the house keeper Johnny ready for the next day.
Then what better way to relax than sitting at the bar drinking caipiranha while surfing on the free internet (WiFi).
